For over 20 years Central Alabama has entrusted Admiral with it's most sensitive files, records, and valuable assets. We operate as a complete records management company, as well as a moving & storage company.  We separate the operations of our business by having the record storage in a separate part of the facility.  The equipment that is used during record storage is only used for that purpose.  The employees that handle these records are limited and controlled. We have temperature controlled ventilation systems that keeps the air circulating and heated during the Winter.  Fire protection is supplied by a monitored system connected to the local fire department.  We are inspected monthly for fire protection and meet state standards.  Our fire and security systems have a back-up power supply. Inside and out we have 24 hour digital video surveilance with infrared cameras.

Admiral Records Management provides hardcopy document storage solutions to clients throughout Alabama.  We provide barcode identification to each container and/or individual file.  ARM will organize, index, box, barcode, pick-up, store, retrieve, deliver, and destroy your documents.  In addition, we provide useful records management reports based on your needs.  We can segment billing based on department for budgeting purposes.  In other words, we are flexible in our back office support so you can focus on your tasks and your customers.

Going Paperless, Scan on Demand, Intelligent Archiving

If your business wants to go paperless, you will find it is just not practical to go back and scan all of your old files and documents (the cost alone will blind you). Admiral Records Management has the solution. Implement a paperless system going forward, but place your old files in our records center, then using “intelligent archiving” we will scan your files as needed. When you request a file or document we will retrieve, scan, and deliver it to you in a digital format. You then place these files on your server, document management system, or we can provide you with a disc with your file(s). Effectively you will be archiving ONLY the 5-10% of your documents that you call up for "scan on demand,” saving money and time. “Scan on demand” is a faster way to get your documents and is less costly than receiving the whole file or box. In a clean, secure and organized facility, we care for information presented to us for retention in our "offsite" location.  Your files are easily accessible to you at any time, and further more they are in a high-security environment.

Traditional business records are stored in containers on high density metal racking systems. For more active individual file folders, storage is typically on “open shelves” to facilitate quick access. Computer tapes, reels, or disk packs are held in specialized slotted media racking or are handled in containers within our climate contained facility. Other storage includes exhibits, business forms, brochures, and/or the shelving and filing of individual containers of microfilm, microfiche.
